Nope, not common for all operators, I think you can use blank space to fill the mail id one time and it may remain same till user changes it.

I love Vodafone for this. I get email alerts. I had to yell at them for that though
He could easily port to BB10 when (if ???) its out. Long time to go though.

What you need to do is just add TIME IN keyword befor time... Rest format is correct.
