I got a few spam calls & messages in recent times, and these were reported successfully! But dont ask what happens after that!

You can try mailing the customer care while keeping TRAI in cc. That outta wake them up

Well, if they are using discarding numbers technique (SMS), I don't know what they can do.. And I feel, a lot of times, its the dealers who indulge in such messages especially the Data card, DTH offer guys - Who happen to be the majority of my irritants.
Yeah, thats what i did a month back. But ultimately i didnt get any feedback. I have again bombarded similar sort of mails to TRAI, Cyber crime cell (Since it was a lottery scam sms), and the Idea appellate. I had got a reply too from TRAI telling that few more details were required. I have mailed them as well. Lets see what happens in the days to come!@ Sabir....Then they should look to screw up the owners of the numbers that are advertised in the spam message. This is a huge flaw in the regulation that they have brought in. If they fix it, then the real culprits wont be spared......that is, again if they want to take some strong steps.
Just completed my half century of complaints reporting using this tool. Thats 50 SMS in about 2.5-3 months , say about 18-20 per month.Actually might be a bit more as I dont remember if score tracking was there from Day 1, when I installed (march 29).

You are half way to highest score! After that the app should crash or something. I didn't think of putting a check

The fact that it allows a setting to delete after reporting is cool. So I just have to think, that I am sort of deleting use this tool & the reporting happens as well. Or Vise Versa. Double benefit.

I asked Vodafone that please don't inform me by a call, just email me the status. Here's what I got. I love Vodafone.
