Its a shame India cant beat a new Aus team without greats like Hussey and Ponting .. I would love to see the Kohlis and Pujaras do this later in South Africa this year but its highly unlikely ... Coming back to current series India has to try to get Aus all out before 350 and will now have to bat well .. Indias advantage is that Aus dont have great spinners like swann and panesar but nevertheless they have a potent pace attack off which Strac can kill them single handedly ..

And apparently Harbhajan looks like he would never ever pick up a wicket!

It was a funny selection considering he was struggling even in domestic cricket.

Actually theory was that some teams get vary of certain players from the opposition and Harbhajan has always tormented the Aussies and hence the selection but if he does not pick up wickets soon then sadly we are seeing the last of harbhajan as he is soon nearing 33 and Ashwin from a disastrous series against England suddenly seems to have picked up form .. India actually should have played Ojha or maybe even a leggie like Mishra would not be a bad option .. 2 offies can make the attack look predictable ...

Yes.. If you wanted to justify Ashwin's bad form & bring in Harbhajan, it would have made sense. Dropping Ojha was a blunder. Also even 2 seamers look excessive as Ishant & Bhubneshwar do not seem to be adding anything at all.

Eh? . Its a Test match .. And its just day 1.. But then, considering India's recent performances, one cannot be blamed for thinking that they could end up in a losing position at the end of day 1.
