" According to a report by Akamai, a firm that runs a globally distributed network of servers, in India the average internet speed was 0.8mbps in Q3 of 2010. This, according to the report, amounted to a -6.9% quarterly decline and a -9.1% yearly decline. India was the only country to see the fall in internet speed among the 12 Asian countries that were covered in the study. "

Airtel is responsible for this. Hell yeah! hehe.

It's forums like these which make me desperate for Hayai to launch in India. No other ISP is willing to sacrifice their ridiculous profit margins.

Man who was naughty enough to add Airtel in the topic title? Cause I surely didn't.

ALL moved toward FUP except reliance, tikona and some local companies.. That is why may be average speed affected.

well airtel probably has more customers than all the other regional players. only bsnl is likely to have more.
