INSAT-4CR Launched Successfully

First of all Hearty Congrats to ISRO for successful launch of INSAT-4CR using GSLV- F04.:thumbsup: It is a replacement satellite for the earlier INSAT-4C which was lost earlier year during launch.

This should give a relief for Sun DTH and will indirectly help all the DTH customers due to increase in competition.

Congratulations ISRO.It is still not clear who will be using the transponders in 4CR. Reliance or Bharti? Reliance has sought clearance to use a foreign sat.

I read this Satellite is only having a weigh of only 2.5 Kg. How is then it is able to transmit the signals all over the subcontinent? Is it so powerful?
