Internet Connection LED

Hi friends,I took broadband connection Home 500C in this month. When I connect to Internet through dialer, it’s getting connected and I can browse and download. But the Internet connection LED on my modem UTSTARCOM W3002G4 doesn’t glow. Is their any problem in the modem or I need to configure the modem. Thank you.

In dialler mode, data LED does not glow.

Thank you dilip. I think i am connecting in bidge mode. so the Internet LED inmy modem does not glow. If i connect in PPPOE mode, the LED will glow. is it right?

Test in "Always On ' mode.

Well I dont know if this issue of mine fits here, but still lemme mention it. I have Nokia Siemens C2110 modem connected to my PC via USB. The Data light [green] on my modem never glows. Though internet works just perfect. Is it for the same above reason ?:S

I tested in 'Always ON' mode. now the Internet LED glows. Thank you.

Is thier any difference in download speed for bridge mode and PPPOE('Always on') mode of internet connection.

No. You can achieve maximum speed in both modes.
