Internet working only if i repair network card..

have been using airtel internet connection for the past 5 years...Now I am experiencing some useless problem.My internet frequently disconnecting, with an unknown reason when I repair my netword card, next second it got connected.Static IP configured. No major settings. Normal Binatone Modem.Solution or at least guesses needed please.

Right click connection icon-repair. Resets the adapter basically.

hard to say man. i have had similar issues but with a different behavior. airtel goes down randomly for a couple of seconds but come back online automatically.

Google for fix host file tool, reassign ip and see. That always worked for me.

Have you tried resetting winsock + TCP/IP stack?

Exactly, somewhere in other thread i mentioned the name of the tool.. Winsock repair tool, but i forgot.. M05f3t made me remember.
