That Hue Lux outputs only warm white at 2700K, only the Hue bulbs produces RGB colors. Philips is indeed very costly, but it integrates with many 3rd party solutions.

There are tons of these smart LEDs in AliExpress but I avoided them since RMA would be a pain in the hassle incase something goes wrong. Also have to wait 20~30days for delivery. Atleast here, the company is offering warranty (I hope)

Well. I want a bulb that I can turn off with a remote or in this case my phone. It is of course more of a novelty item. One of the features is that the light can change color based on what kind of music you are playing. But it only support one music app for this functionality. The other features are kind of more useful (?). Color can change based on the weather outside. You can make it blink when you get a call or text and so on. But yeah... A novelty item.

That's BULLSHIT............ Atleast 1400 lumens is needed for proper light

So it makes useless for normal use

Also useful for changing the mood of the room without expensive wall paints. Blue color for peace, orange for concentration and so on. Its definitely an novelty for sure ..comes under same category like expensive chandeliers.
