I have a multi-story house where I have my Jio router installed on the 1st floor. I have a room on the 2nd floor where I've wired a router with an ethernet cable. The problem is that I'm only getting an IPv6 address and no IPv4 address. And I'm unable to use most of the internet because it still uses IPv4. Here are a few more details:
  • Router: TP-Link 300Mbps Wireless N ADSL2+ Modem Router (from the back of the router)
  • ISP: JioFiber
  • OS I've tried on: Android, Windows, iOS

I set it to DHCPv4 and it totally fixed my problem.
And thank you so much. I've been smashing my head against this for more than a year now.
Could you also explain what this does, I'm curious.
