TIL that whether you can use IPV6 depends on the equipment of the LCO/TIP.
My LCO has Syrotech OLT (v-solution seems to be the supplier). Which apparently isnt upgraded to latest firmware. Dude seems lazy af. So once he does upgrade, the new firmware will have ipv6 capability.
Also as per Twitter info given by BSNL handles the malware attack is on these OLTs. It seems its not on the bsnl network itself.
@philip BSNL Shillong is taking its own sweet time to deploy IPv6. They have some equipment that is capped at 100 Mbps for that matter. I wonder where all the money goes sometimes.
