Yup, its an anycast address. You can confirm it by pinging from mumbai/blr/delhi. From Delhi I get 2.4 milliseconds as the ping.

Which the best dns for ipv6 ? is cloudfare dns better than google dns for ipv6 or is it the vice versa in based on latencies?

can anyone confirm the anycast ip address which google leads to in India?
You can check in on dnsleaktest.com where you will get exact location and ip. Mostly it is converted to ipv4 of nearest location.
I am on ipv6 via tunnel from Japan server so I get anycast of Japan ip on dnsleaktest

@Philips: it varies on individual to individual basis, you have to measure it for yourself to see what works best for you(most probably in india google will be best because of their deep integration with pretty much every ISP here)

I rank it as Google, open dns, cloudflare. But you need to ping and choose best ones. If you are in family protection, then open dns with family shield is best for ipv4 and cleanbrowsing for IPV6 (Though its outside India, so little higher pings).

Google dns ipv6 is anycast one.
Usually all ipv4 dns servers will have AAAA records to point to the ipv6 address.

Guys my prime memebrship just now said it ended. So when will it be auto renewed by bsnl . Will it take time or should i do anything about. Actually i wanted to cancel the auto renewal but my renewal is over by yesterday . Should i do anything for the prime to get activated again?

@philip Only the first year is free, so from 2nd year it would be chargeable. I would have hoped it would get auto-renewed if it wasn't canceled. This reminds me, mine is also expiring. Let me go check.

@varkey glad that u remembered . I just forgotten it and now I cannot opt out of it since the renewal period was before 14 th,they say it. But the from Amazon side my membership is cancelled so it is not auto renewed ,actually I am planning to for monthly memberships, but I am confused whether bsnl will auto renew it or not, how much time they take for auto renewal..
