The website has improved a lot. Booked ticket twice in the last one week, including today. Today I was able to book the ticket in 2 minutes flat. Impressive!

Holy cow!. Such a nice looking application for a government service!. First IRCTC website improved and now this. Is this real or am I dreaming?.

They already have pretty solid apps for Windows Phone and Windows 8.

Hope they provide live train alerts in the app. Like delay, next station etc.

They appear to have APIs for it that are used by third party apps I think. Not sure. @vedantlath might be able to help.
