Is it just me, or is this new installment looking a bit meh in the trailer? The best thing about the Iron Man series, or even the rebooted Marvel universe as whole (Iron Man, Thor, Captain America), has been how easy-going, yet action-filled all of the movies have been in their tone. Somehow, I don't think the dark tone of the trailer gels with the feel of the series, and feels like it's going against Downey Jr.'s lighthearted take on Tony Stark. Still going to wait and watch for the release next year, but yeah, my two paisa goes to that...

Looks epic. Dark and epic. The director is Shane Black. I loved his previous movie "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang" also starring Robert Downey Jr.
