Of late I have noticed that if i start up Bittorrent my internet browsing stops working although Bittorrent itself is connected to the internet ie BTorrent will still be downloading/uploading.
If I completely quit Bittorrent even then my internet will not work for at least 10 minutes (although the connection itself is fine).
Is ACT doing this or is this caused by Bittorent itself? I have made some changes in Bittorrent (reduced no. of outgoing/incoming connections) but the problem persists.

It's probably your router.
Try using this as a guideline four your torrent client: http://infinite-source.de/az/az-calc.html
Login to your router & look at the logs. NAT table full?

Hi Uberjohn, thanks for the reply, How does one check the NAT table? I'm assuming it is from the router login but I can't find anything related to NAT
Anyway, i upgraded my router firmware which seems to have fixed the problem. Don't think it is an issue with ACT :D

You need to look at the logs. It would be mentioned there. If it happens again, now you know where to look.
