For some time now i have not been able to download anything from link-removed/link-removed or even the private torrents during the night unlimited 2-8 period. :wall:During the day time the speed is good as dls are 1.7-1.9mbps. But exactly after 2 to 2.30am the internet speed justs slows down to a crawling speed of just

As far as i know , the slow speed in this time slot is due to congestion as lots of people download in this time slot. Your speed is still decent..mine went down to 1kbps yesterday...even lower than a mobile office connection:(

Even I'm getting low speeds since last two days.I've broadband since two years, now and suddenly this thing started.

no speed issues in punjab region.getting normal 200-220 KB/s speed during Night Period :cool2:

Add me to the list. Download speeds at night suck here also. They are indeed cheating. Congestion is no reason to give. They have promised 256kbps+ and we should get more then that.

Yet another thread!I am facing the same problem since last 1 month. Discussed this with many higher level officers but they have no idea of wtf is going on. Goodbye Bsnl. :)

How have you people configured utorrent? It is entirely possible to saturate your connection if you have set the maximum number of connection too high. Set it to 90 or so and restart the program. Then see if it makes a difference. Also, enable protocol encryption. Change the maximum upload bandwidth to around 45 KB/seond when not downloading and something lesser (25 KB/second) when downloads are progressing.Do not try to seed and download too many torrents at the same time. Doesn't work with our 256 kbps upstream ADSL. Rotate them. Also in your ADSL modem have you enabled DOS protection? Disable it, because the firewall in modem thinks that all the torrent packets are an DOS attempt. But keep other protections on!I do not get full speed during day but haven't had such issues unless there was something wrong with line or temporary (not more than a week) issue on BSNL side. One can't rule out throtteling though...

OMG BSNL slowly spreading this f@kin happy hours capping virus day by day..

each n everyday a new thread has been opened for this same reason.

as i said in the other thread i have decided to throw out this connection by the end of this month, & now with a huge trumpet i am yelling to everyone.. WE HAVE TO STOP LICKING THEIR BA_LLS
