Is BSNL the worst ISP in India?

Andhra Pradesh got 2mbps speed, I hope next Gujrat and then other states and lastly my backward town where one and only BSNL is actual Broadband provider.

I've heard that 2 Mbps is minimum speed in Gujarat thanks to Modi.

Politics aside.......I don't think BSNL is the worst. Some of the most affordable plans are offered only by BSNL. No doubt the FUP thing sucks but atleast there are constantly upgrading stuff. Latest FTTH(Fiber Optic) might improve stuff in the long run. But there need better routing tables. My internet connections goes through Bangalore and then to mumbai(I live in goa which is almost equidistance to both these place).

My only issue with Bsnl is the horrible pings and routing and the drop connections when it rains
Apart from that it's fine download/browsing wise

You can latest technology and still have the worst internet, if the routing sucks.

Agreed,once I ran a trace route to a Netherlands server iirc it went like this Mumbai-France-Amsterdam-England-New Ark-New York-Los Angeles-Japan-Singapore and back.I believe Bsnl was trolling me that day:rofl:
