I've been using Jio AirFiber for about two months now, and recently, I've noticed a significant drop in the ping response from the Jio AirFiber home gateway.

Here are the stats I've gathered:

Gateway Response:
Overall Status after 6100 pings for IP 192.168.31.1: Total Success: 5977 Total Failure: 123 Success Percentage: 97.98% Failure Percentage: 2.02%

Upon further investigation, it seems that all the IPV4 processes routed through the Jio AirFiber IDU are experiencing similar ping losses.

For other Jio AirFiber users out there, I'd appreciate hearing your thoughts and reviews on this matter. What has your experience been like?

Note - Currently my problem is being reviewed by Jio TLD team.

This is not unusual. Happens on Wi-Fi. Use Ethernet connection to avoid this.

@Skeeter if this is the case it should be happen with ipv6 also. But ipv6 its completely fine.

Apart from that i use MacBook air m1 by default its not supported any lans.

@Skeeter Same. @Faruk We can basically give up on the refund, I tried and failed. We are essentially stuck with it. Good thing is I feel it is improving? - I guess the congestion is getting sorted out. This is directly tied to the congestion on Jio’s 5G backbone, with its massive expansion in record time, they are facing severe issues even with Calls, etc. IPv4 on Jio is horrendous, just pathetic. It operates best with IPv6. IPv4 which my company laptop essentially force using Netskope, is mediocre on the network.

Your best bet might be to "threaten them"/give them warnings somehow, this is what my dad did, the service was so pathetic that we went to our division's head office and made a complaint, it seems talking nicely isn't an option for this.

@Faruk
I have a PC that uses 2.5 Gb Ethernet and I am facing ping issues.
Have you checked what loaded latency, you get?
For me at least on the upload side, its very much spiking like crazy.
