I dont understand why all the important decisions about Tata Sky are taken by those STAR people :madness:. I wonder whether the DTH is a Tata owned or STAR owned company. Seems that 80% partner is STAR and 20 % partner is TATA group :hysterical:.I am sure TATA group wont be having any problem with Zee Network channels. Moreover, TATA group is such a respected group in this country. However, its because of STAR's rivalry with Zee network we are not getting several channels like Zee next, Zee Sports, Zee Smile, Zee telugu, Zee kannada, Zee talkies, Zee Action, Zee Classic, Zee Premiere, Zee Muzic, ETC, ETC Punjabi, Zee 24 Taas, 24 Ghanta, Zee Jagran.I know, some people may not be interested in these channels, but what about people like us who want most of those channels. Moreover who is STAR to decide what we should watch and what we should not...

They are the ones who have brought in the technology and money to run the venture. So their decision is final. At present the only way you can have all the channels is buy one connection from every operator.

Zee Screwed up and Zee who the hell cares..are some more channels coming on DishTV Soon. "Unpopular" channels like UTV Movies and Neo Sports are not part of their plans..Like gregory house says the only solution is to have a connection from each operator, or wait for IPTV where there wont be any transponders to book.

I doubt Starsky's credibility here, looking at his id & date of joining this forum i think he works for Zee or is a Tata Sky employee from pune who knows Star is not allowing zee channels & wants to protest against it. Sorry mate dont want to offend you just a thought.

Tata is financial partner mainly. Star has experience in this field. So obviously its decision wud be given higher weightage even if it just has 20% stack.

Law is very clear DTH operators and Broadcasters will have to provide el-a-carte of channels the price formula has also been fixed by TRAI AND endorsed by Supreme Court in Zee Vs Tata Sky case .They all r having a field day at customers cost, ultimately law will catch up.

law/tax is only for common ppl i.e its enforced only on common ppl. not for big money minting guys

law always has/keeps escape route and it will used to max. only mobile network types competition can do something good for customers.
