ok...i think the problem is more of MTNL than Sify...coz i'm unable to open a cpl of sites that other MTNL users are unable to, as well...so Sify is not at fault, for a change!!!

Yes, I too hate using the mail accounts that comes with ISP. When you terminate using your ISP, your mailbox is destroyed.

i know people who buys the cheapest dialup accounts of vsnl coz they still use the del.vsnl.net.in as their mail ids

That would be like 70 % of the internet users in India. And Rs. 500 for 100 hours isn't cheap.
