Is speedtest result reliable ?

I am on 512kbps plan i.e. getting download speed of 60-64 kBps but speedtest is showing 6.72 mbps.

Use HNS Mumbai server for testing. It's more accurate than Delhi server.

It all depends how your ISP is peered with whoever is hosting the speedtest server. Your real world result will generally be more accurate to a server (1) in another city (2) in the next country.Mumbai users of our 5Mbit/s flat-rate plan would see 85+mbit/s to speedtest.net Mumbai.

For any sort of real world results test with a server in US (across the world) and hope that your ISP isn't indulging in traffic shaping for SpeedTest.
