Is the STB & Smart Card paired?

Hi guys, 1.) is the SUN Direct STB is paired with its Smart card like Dish TV? or i can use Sun Direct card on any available MPEG 4 Reciever? 2.) And anyone receiving Sun Direct in Mideast? if so wats the dish size? i'm having Dish TV in mideast with 6 ft dish, can i change the direction to Insat4B and get sundirect? answers are highly appreciated
