Hi every1....

for umg 1831 :) ) but wen i start downloading from link-removed or sumthing ... the speed

is drastically low :( :impissed: :impissed: .... i thought they have capped the torrent thing..... so ny1 knows

ny DIRECT links to download movies, or ny other things ???:pleasehelp::pleasehelp:

Bsnl & mtnl are known to give best speeds in torrents so there might be wrong on ur side. Do u have a good seeds ratio? Btw i m pretty sure we cant post links of warez forums here. But here is a hint search warez bb in google & u will have wht u want. PS :- a humble request to the admins. Although i have not posted much but i really like this forum. So if this post is out of line could u give me a warning & not ban me.thanks.PSS :- forgot to add. One of the reasons u are getting bad speeds is ur phone. Not an ideal device for a modem. Also have u increased the number of global connections allowed in ur preference menu. It should be increased to 500 & the entry below that should be 450. Sorry sitting in Beed & typing from my iPhone so cant give more specific answers.

No it is not capped it is the very nature of torrents which fluctuates the speed. Remember ur dwnld speeds are equal to upload speed of all uploaders connected to you.If you choose a torrent which has very few SEEDERS then u end up with low speeds...

ya i know it depends on the health of the torrent... but how healthy the torrent may be..... .. even if there are more seeders.......still the speed is low.... :(

There is dynamic IP problem as well. All wireless connections use dynamic IP system in which an IP is shared by a number of users. Have you noticed ur Ip changes every time you reconnect. Bsnl 3G also uses this system. The problem in this system is that it does not support incoming connections , If u have VUZE as ur client you will see that source-> INCOMING CONNECTIONS always stays zero.Hence no body is able to contact u for uploading, the only data u get is through the outbound connections you establish. This is the reason of this speed problem.

I have also noticed that the torrent speeds are significantly slower than direct downloads, i think its mostly due to port blocking issue as most of the ports are blocked in bsnl 3G.
