Mine also goes through Bangalore I guess .WhatsApp calls are not connecting and websites are loading slow. Running a VPN from few hours now.
It is most probably congestion

Yes, facing major speed and ping issues from yesterday. 300 Mbps crawls to 30 Mbps and lower along with some websites taking forever to load or timing out. Have to refresh the page a bunch of times.
Looks like BSNL can't keep up with the bandwidth.
