Is there some catch with the Grand Sports Pack?

Hi... i was still stuck with those old packs, received a call from a ts rep saying stuff about new packages,
so looked up the website, the grand sports pack seems awesome!

so this makes me put up this thread because of ts's previous cost cut surprises (which weren't really a cost cut), how am i getting 3 more sports channels at 25 bucks less than what i'm paying now (INR405)...and sports channels in the base pack itself?! :w00t: is it really ts or some other hacked website lol..

i'm currently subscribed to the old super saver pack, ESPN STAR Sports, Cosmo Monthly, Lifestyle Gold; by the looks of things i'm not losing channels with the Grand sports pack, and am getting 3 extra sports channels.

however the thing that is bugging me is on the link above they have not listed hindi entertainment, or anything hindi, while in the package description these packs are also listed... are the hindi packs included or not?

yeah no catch!.. got the supreme sports kids plus the english packs and it somehow saved an additional 50 bucks with additional 3 channels. awesome!

had to check all my channels myself lol... now subscribed to all my existing channels plus 3 extra sports channels at Rs350/month. finally satisfied with ts..didn't know this day would ever come ... this means they're finally feeling threatened to lose customers to other dth services. good for the subscriber though.

On the other hand, I am worried now. The pack that I had taken - the Economy pack for 150 - is now missing. They have replaced with another pack of 185. A huge increase for me. Every year they do funny stuff like this and piss me off.

yes that is bad... shouldn't have removed the economy pack...

Economy pack was removed 2 months back and now its State Pack @ Rs 185 which also includes all Knowledge channels Discovery, NGC, Animal Planet , Fox His

^ Right, I saw that. What I am telling is that, for my usage, the new State Pack is an overkill. All those 'extra' channels that have been added, I don't remember if I ever watched them even when I had them on my pack. Essentially, I will end up paying more for stuff that I don't want.

I was just checking out the Grand Sports pack Vs Supreme Sports Kids Pack.The only difference I could find wasEnglish Entertainment(35) + English News(20) + English Movies (45).So a total of rs 100. However the difference in the Package pricing is Rs 130.What am I missing.Thanks
