I Get a 757kbps(Nearly 100kBps) in download and 406kbps for upload when checked with speed guide in utorrent.latency is 195(What is that??).I Downloaded USB Security from rapid share(free) at around 90kBps speed it took 15 sec to download 1 mb file. For good torrents i get speen of aroun 80kBpsI Am Asking if it is good speed for a combo plan 500 which says 256kbps to 2mbps speed??Is there any way to speed up my browsing and downloads???

You can get up to 200 KBps. But luck is really a factor here. Distance from exchange, line quality and many other factors will influence you speed. Try TCP/IP optimizer from speedguide.netTry a download from Microsoft, post the speed. Also try a speed test from speedtest.net, post the screen shot.

@tsram90Mention te modem model make.Post adsl data. List the applications appearing in your Task Bar.Any automatic Update/s program?Speed cannot be constant always. As suggested a file download from Microsoft websiteis indicative of correct speed.Try speedtest distant servers like New York Sydney etc.
