It is clearly mentioned that any form of uploads are free and not counted.
"" 17. Will Upload is counted in data limits?
All the websites you are opening and the files you are downloading will be counted. Data and files uploaded will not be counted in your data limit
19. Whether uploading data on internet is free or chargeable? E.g. email sending, file attachments etc?
Any form of uploads are not chargeable to customers. File uploading, email sending etc. are uploads and are not used for billing purposes ""
But the problem with alcatel server logging system is that it counts all the data as Total Volume in MB. And then for 849 NU, all data volume from 12 -8 is free data volume and for rest of the time, is charged.
They charge 2-3% of total volume uploaded due to following reasons,
When u upload something, after a packet is sent 4m ur computer to server of link-removed in order that packet has reached reached d server, server sends a packet to ur PC[feedback] in order 2 grant permission 4 next packet, also it tells u what uploading speed u r getting and calculated time elapsed/ time remaining.
This happens in torrents also, download occurs during seeding/ add torrent(user torrent)
So for 100Mb upload -> 2-3 Mb download will be counted.
any network meter like DU meter wilkl show that approx
1MB may be Downloaded for every 100MB uploaded.
However if you want to upload via a Torrent client, the Torrent client will upload 100MB but AT THE SAME TIME MAY DL ALMOST 50MB
so try Upload via FTP or HTTP, coz then DL MB's will be very, very low.
And the UL is always free
Some people limit uploading speed to few kbps perpously(LEECHERS)
and keep their downloading speeds in MBPS or unlimited,
SO in case of those people when they start seeding, it takes some time for torrent 2 realise(utorrent 1.7.7) the speed setting, so u must have realised it takes some time to judge the actual speed, then it reconfigures according to user requirement.
So its better atleast for those who don't have UL/ NU plan, should not upload using torrents.
They shd use link-removed/ deposit files/ mediafire, etc.
