Is Xiaomi Redmi Note I compatible with Reliance Jio?

Does Reliance Jio work on Xiaomi Redmi Note 1 ? It supports LTE.

After the trial period all app data would be chargeable, unless they clarify that the jio join data is an exception imho.

Note 3,Redmi 3S Prime and Mi5 have VoLTE
