I edited the setting and Problem Solved :DActually I installed my router in bridged mode but the router settingwas in pppoe withwrong username and password. On the one hand I was trying to connect it via bridged mode and on the other hand router was struggling in ppoe mode with wrong userid-pass. LOLThat was totally connection sync problem.thanks for your generous reply :Dbest regards,Spectre

I also changed my plan this month. So from day one i have this problem.
It says connecting through wan miniport and never connects and after sometime it says "Error 678: The remote computer did not respond…"

Pls let me know how you have solved this problem ?

My ISP bsnl cannot help solve this problem till now.

The same problem I am facing ,I tried the above solutions but nothing happened.
My 750+plan worked without any problem in beginning ,the month when I subscribed
the plan.I am facing the problem for 4 to 5 days.I have to reset my router several times frustratingly to connect to broadband.
To solve it I did these :
1)put service name as dataone
2)changed mode to bridged
3)recreated the connection

But problem still persists. :(

please help
