Shah Rukh Khan's action thriller 'Jawan' has shattered the star's own Bollywood opening day record.

It opened on Thursday and its Hindi-language version grossed $9.4 million in India, with a further $1.3 million from Tamil and Telugu-language dubbed versions, according to numbers provided to Variety by Red Chillies. Including overseas collections, “Jawan” enjoyed a $15.6 million opening day.

Shah Rukh Khan’s “Pathaan,” which released in January, was the previous record holder for a Hindi-language film, grossing $8.32 million in India and a further $4.5 million in overseas territories on its first day in cinemas, for a worldwide gross total of $12.7 million.

Considering it's a Raj Kumar Hirani film a 200-300 CR is a given for Dunki even if it's an average one. Assuming this ends at around 650, which it is set to. 1500 cr for srk this year would be an understatement.
 
What do you mean? Pathaan and Jawan both have grossed 1000+ crore. He is already at the 2000+ cr mark. Unless you are only counting domestic.
 
I was indeed talking about net. Since Sushubh's post was about 600 net, I was referring to that hitting 650 and with Dunki being 300+ as a given.. 1500 should be easy

And yeah overall probably 3k is not ruled out. Assuming pathan+jawan would be around 2200. Dunki 800 is a possibility and I wonder if 1300 would be possible, make it 3500 overall.
