Jio Happy New Year Offer

I got migrated to 1GB limit HNYO offer last month itself. The offer name changed today from JWO to HNYO

Jio does give me 80 Mbps to Jio speedtest server on my Google Pixel. But good things end there. I am unable to even browse internet due to sites not loading. What is the use if half of the sites are unresponsive and not even opening? Some Jio fanboys are telling me to disable IPv6 to solve this “sites not opening” problem. But that is not possible with rooting or jail-breaking our devices.

The whole Jio experience has a typical Reliance quality stamp on it. Substandard at it’s best!

Since last 2 weeks, I have shifted back to Vodafone 4G + MTNL ADSL wireline for my needs.

JIO is working fine with me. Speeds go up and down but not at all bad.

I have found jio experience different from handset to handset at same place.

On my samsung phone with band 3,5,40 it works very well.
On Redmi 2 phone with band 3, 40 network fluctuates a lot, speed are low and volte logo disappears a lot.

Yes you can go for ipv4. Just go to APN setting. There you will find APN protocol. Select ipv4 instead of ipv4/ipv6.

JIO has some routing issues and even they are deliberately blocking some sites. Once in a week I can't open Quora,FB,YT and even this forum. I could never open http://upe.bsnl.co.in/ on JIO.

I have not found any issue opening FB, YT or this forum. (except 1 day about 1-2 months back)

Ever since the migration to new plan I'm getting good speeds consistently. No issues so far.

Yes because those who consuming 4GB earlier can consume just 1GB now.

Which allows other JIO users faster speed.
