Jio join not working

The jio join app doesn't work anymore it just says please connect to a jio fiber network and try again even though i am directly connected to jio fiber.

I tried contacting customer care they assigned an engineer who said that the app won't work and i need to buy a telephone.

I tried older versions of the app which didn't work either.

So any fixes?

Use their default DNS setting on phone and router. I can't confirm.
If you are using Private DNS, disable that.

I haven't touched the dns settings on phone or router.
