In Blackberry's case you knew what you were getting into. An overpriced phone with a proven enterprise software experience. Jolla on the other hand has nothing special except for a different user experience. Sure it support Android apps but not Google ones.

How many people tried Blackberry Z3 for a different OS experience...

I had almost made my mind to buy Z3, but after reading several reviews, I dropped the plan to buy it. Besides it was supposed to launch in price range of 12K, but when launched it was 16K. So I avoided it

May be the 5000 sales are from the (xiaomi flipkart style) resellers / black marketers with the idea to sell it at higher price later.

In last Redmi1s sale, they got a blow as buying after adding to cart is reduced to 6 pm same day. I have seen many begging for just 500 Rs premium. Looks like everyone will get a chance to buy in next Redmi1s sale, imho...
