Just got BSNL BB......what all should i expect from BSNL

Yeah for a/c management I need to have portal ID & PWD.

I contacted JTO only and he is repeating the same thing that call help desk they will provide you the details. But I don't know when I will be able to hear from non existing crappy bsnl customer care even after holding the line (18004241600) for around 20mins. :wall:

These days I think you need to register in CRM for the account management stuff related things.Once you register over there you can wait for 24-48 hrs to get the call to your Landline on which you have registered for the connection.If you are not getting the calls please call 1800.424.1600 repeatedly so that your online account is activated.

@rjanwadkerThanks for your help. It seems you live in Hyderabad but I live in Bangalore. May be it will work for all cities. Daily I am calling 18004241600 but nobody is attending the call.One more reason why I want to have the portal ID & PWD is that I heard some where that BSNL can change customer tariff plan without his request and without informing the customer. So if I can check the usage details I will know what plan I have been gifted from this crappy ISP and I won't be looted by the BSNL Hefty bills and avoid headaches just in case. :wall: :wall:ThanksRamana

NO 14digit UserID or password required.
1.Check your usage and take an XL copy. to confirm your plan
2.will be helpful if a screen shot is posted :for home750 U/L users.
3.Substitute your acc no instead of "12345678" ( see telephone bill )
4.No space for http.
5.TEST

Hi again I got my first bill. Could someone please explain what is what and break up the amount. btw, i checked this online and no detailed bill info available for broadband charges. My plan is Home 750 U/L Plus.

Accessory Rentals -- 267.74
Miscellaneous Facility Charges -- 2500
Service Tax -- 105.14
Less Adjustment Amount -- 500 (I guess this what i have paid while booking the connection)

I couldn't check the usage details using the link you have given. FYI, my BB connection was installed by end of 3rd week of November.

I still didn't get my portal ID and pwd BSNL.....i couldn't get it from BSNL help desk either....please help me

if my phone goes dead ,is there any land line number to call up and complaint which is accessible from Tata and airtel Land line nos? and even cell?
 
I called up 1504 and got my ID & PWD sets. Now except BSNL web mail rest all are working fine :yahoo:. For web mail the CCA said that server is down so call us back later and we will make sure it works.Thanks everyone.
 
You can try your BSNL mail Id in OE or Outlook.

4. Send a test mesage from OE to say your YahooID.
