It was a decision taken by Graham Yost (creator) and Tim Olyphant. They feel that the stories are winding down. Plus, it's better to do out on top.
Amy Poehler and Tina Fey recently hosted the golden globes for the second straight year and Tina Fey noted: "This is Hollywood, and if something kind of works they'll just keep doing it until everybody hates it."

Second episode was equally good. Even without a solid physique or hand to hand fighting skills Raylans character is such a badass.

Boyd gets some pretty amazing dialogs...No, but I know you. Now, Dewey Crowe, you standbefore me today a newly mintedsmall businessman on his way tobeing bona fide. After everything you've beenthrough, I am proud of you, son.The only thing I know about yourcousin Darryl is he doesn't knowwho he's related to.Now, sometimes, being aman means you got to know whento put your foot down.Well, put your foot down,Dewey Crowe!

I love having Raylan and Boyd in the same room. Sparks fly. But, those scenes are few and short these days. It looks like we will get to see some in the next episode.

A sense of direction is missing this season. I mean I'm not sure where this is heading. Boyd and Crowe family are going to be at loggerheads. Raylan appears to be in the picture too. Plus, Johnny, Ava and a host of other characters are there.
Nevertheless, "Justified" is very entertaining.
