True, his voice is an important part of the package. I don't know why he stopped dubbing in Hindi. He used to dub when he was acting in original Hindi movies. I think the singer Mano does a good job with Telugu dubbing.
From my limited understanding of the Hindi language, I think you're saying that the make up artist (a lady named Banu) should get an Oscar for this movie? At least, he doesn't wear makeup and wigs off the screen like most other artists.
As an aside, Rajini has been in USA since after the assembly elections on May 16. He has not even appeared in public, hasn't tweeted, hasn't personally done any promotions. And yet, the stakes for this movie and his stature are rising every day.
