Indian mobile manufacturer Karbonn has quietly launched A30, an Android 4.1 (Ice Cream Sandwich)-powered smartphone with a huge 5.9-inch display. The device is currently available with online retailer Saholic at Rs 10,990. Though the seller is offering delivery period of three days and option of cash on delivery, it currently does not have the smartphone in stock

Yes at least that much is needed IMO. These companies are making large screen phones with shitty resolutions as a common man doesn't worry much about the resolution before purchasing the device. At least 720p is a must on a phone (or a phablet) of this size.

Anyone here using Karbonn A30 mobile phone ? I am looking for a phone with big screen but small price to be used dedicatedly as a video player on the go.I know it has lower resolution for the giant 5.9" screen and all but if anyone here is using it themselves please give your opinions.I know it is discontinued but I think I can find used ones on Olx Quikr etc.
