What are disadvantages of buying low end Indian branded Android phone? (since I am considering it, Micromax A70 perhaps)
 
^ You get the worst of both worlds - both in terms of the phone, as well as the OS. Android is an OS which comes into its own on higher configurations. Lower end devices are just namesake Androids, without proper support (functioning) of some of the features of this resource heavy OS.
 
Still, despite the limited functionality that they offer, low end android phones are still better than feature phones in that budget.
