Keya Delhi refuses entry to disabled in their restaurant

right. a smarter outlet would use a different excuse like dress code (as in my experience with b-bar). if they actually mentioned the restriction based on disability, it was a pretty stupid move on their part.

i am not clear on the rights to admission reserved clause as in its scope and what all it entails.
I do understand that clubs define its rules to its members and are binding(and i apply for its membership after reading its rules) but have yet to come across any restaurant that clearly mentions any rules for admission or for that matter displaying Disabled not allowed inside or no entry with sneakers or casual dressing though have seen arms and ammunition not allowed inside signs. I understand it reserves the right to admission but should it not also define what determines admission?
can i just go about under the garb of this clause discriminating at my whims and fancies? i understand its a private entity but its not like my home where i am dealing with people i know in general. at the end of the day am dealing with public in a commercial space.
dont think the joint did any good for its business by denying entry ..more so ever now when its become a big issue

They can't define the criteria because they don't have clearly defined criteria. They would ideally prefer good looking, well dressed people with a lot of money to spend on expensive drinks, preferably more women than men etc. they are going to try to restrict entry to anyone who causes imbalance in this criteria. They probably didn't expect this to blow in their faces.
