Latest firmware for UT-300R2?

UT-STAR (UT-304R2U - firmware version R1.00B02.2A.UT) configuration 459 KB

@members/boygr8/ Please post Device status showing Firmware version.
Any other user who has the same modem, and knows how to extract the latest version can help. UTSTAR/Huawei do not post FW updates in their websites /forums and always advise us to contact the ISP.
This is the firmware version details given in MTNL user'r guide PDF link.
Advise by @amish and @sushubh are important.
Do not upgrade FW unless absolutely necessary, and you are sure MTNL/BSNL will exchange a "Door Stopper" modem!
:O Para twof course modifying FW versions with WRT, "tomato" etc is beyond the scope/ of most BB users.( include me too ).
PS: see one small letter or prefix missing could make a big difference in FW version.
You have posted 304R2 and I have referred to 304R2U .
Downloaded the PDF file seems both are same !

its seshu not sushubh!(even i used to mix up those two names) seshu was active earlier..but now lost.

@amish . @seshu is very much active i think . Last noticed in Feb 2008.

Please edit your post and add Date/year if available. There could be minor variations.( or some "bug" removed) I have just quoted the title for the user manual download.
Para two :Unless someone downloads from link in Post No 8 , and updates his modem &reports the FW version, suspense will continue !!!

seems not available in some UTstar models. I use AXMT882 and Beetel 220BX1.
