i might be wrong but from what i remember the focus on the marketing was on the xolo brand. not the specific model name. looks like intel has their own branding for that phone Intel AZ210 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Went to friends shop as 2 more friends wanted to see and buy this phone.
may be tomorrow morning we are bulk purchasing this currently 4 of us.

Someone posted on flipkart that you can change the ringtone, which was a wrong statement don't know where this guy heard it from even.

ya that I know, I think someone misinformed that person that you cannot change ringtone and phone will always ring in one tone.
May be some LAVA Hater did so.
One can also place his mp3 and other supported format tones inside media-->ringtone folder to have them included in List of ringtones in any android phone.

Went out this evening and got call from friend's shop he was able to get 2 Lava Iris501 Phones, but
out of 4 friends only we two were having no further thoughts about Lava or MMX,
went to the shop and completed the Txn.
Just came back along my "Lava IRIS 501" brought home, spent 5 minutes with Family and then Guess what"
I successfully Rooted the Device (Lava Iris501) and Installed Titanium Backup.
will post pics and more details once I am done with Restore of 75-80 Apps from Old Phone to this "BEAST"
would also need to remove partition from old Phone card as it was having custom SWAP and Ext2 partitions.
I'll be back tonight
