Can you please post about the battery life and audio quality.
yes will post today, Last night I had to struggle to arrange screen protection for the device as company provided one came off and I didn't want to scratch it during initial days.
battery was fully charged this morning so lets see how it turns out through the day.

This is with reference to your posting on another forum. Can you please post step by step instructions on which ADB driver you used to connect to this phone?
Also provide the details on how you replaced some of the system apps.

I installed the PDA net software got the link on XDA, then rooted it.
I removed apps which i didn't needed, hike, salestracker etc, modified the start up to use the least possible apps
and updated only a couple of them using this list

Finally after so many months of experiements,
I ported a Nexus Based 4.2.2 ROM for this Device.
My Lava Iris 501 is running 4.2.2 now for a week, and I am refining it to make it a Public ROM.
so if there are friends here who have this Device, don't loose hope, 4.2.2 is just around the corner.
