I am currently using CWM recovery and rooted my K3 Note.
@Topweb I am using 64GB
SanDisk Ultra UHS 1 card without any issue. You can watch upto 1080p videos without any issue. Also there are almost a dozen apps easily removable / un - installable, a couple of dozen apps that can be disabled without root from app manager in settings. After rooting, I have freezed another dozen apps using Titanium Backup. The performance and Free RAM is improved a lot after doing this.
And no issues in 3.5mm jack...
I have seen many people complaining about the
Android Lag, which is a thing of past in KitKat itself.. Even the small occassional issues was perfectly removed with Android RT, which is the default RT from Lollipop onwards. But then why the lag in K3 note or other phones? Its all due to useless Animations in UI. Try opening a folder (like
Google folder in home screen), that sh!t will take good 2 seconds to open showing B$ animation. I have selected ANIMATION OFF in the 3 animation scale options from Developer options ---> Drawing and then this phone flies...
BE CAREFUL WHILE MAKING CHANGES IN DEVELOPER OPTIONS AND AVOID DOING SO, IF YOU ARE NOT SURE WHAT YOU ARE DOING.. If you even don't know how to enable Dev options, please avoid this step, imho...
Usually I wipe the cache and Dalvik Cache from custom recovery to see immediate result, but a couple of restarts is also enough, imho.. Else immediate changes will be seen in menu transition and pull down notifications only. The lag in opening folder will take time to disappear..
