Its overpriced because its a Lenovo. Lenovo has a pretty shitty reputation in the market when it comes to phones. Their earlier Intel-processor based phones had shitty battery life and heating issues.
I'll have to agree with Dushie that Lenovo can only sell phones in this space by going the Micromax way: competitive pricing.

Right. So, phones should be priced on the basis of brands and not what you are getting. Perfect. If this is how everything thought, Nokia would still be the market leader. And Samsung would still be just another player in the mobile phone market.

They can probably raise prices when they have built some brand loyalty. They fucked up earlier by shipping substandard hardware that was not well-tested and that tarnished their reputation. To win some customers, competitive pricing is essential.

33K is the MRP. Retail price could be around 30K. I am still not sure how much discount they need to offer compared to S4 or Note II to make it look good. 5.5" 1080p display 2GB RAM for around 30K. Lenovo makes solid hardware. They have a widespread presence in India. Support should be no hassle.
People who buy Samsung would buy Samsung no matter how cheap this phone sells for. There would be the usual excuse of... It has an Intel processor. Or there are no guarantees of software updates or whatever.
Would I buy this phone? No. Do I think it is competitively priced? Yes.

Specs are very good. And looks wise this is amazing, just love the placement of the backpanel four corners screws :)
