lenovo s870 fiasco

I remember you mention this model when we were discussing that other Lenovo model with a huge battery. You said you wanted to go for that model but decided to order this one because of CDMA.
I was a CDMA user before I got my first Android device. There were no good Android device options on CDMA back then. There are no good Android device options on CDMA today.
I went GSM back then. One major compromise CDMA fans like us have to make. I would switch back to Tata Indicom today if there was a choice. Sadly, that is unlikely to happen ever.

when my wired wifi got weak, i checked for other connections to find the phone in the list.the phone acts as a wifi router and gives me speeds upto 40kbps.i have enabled basic 2g package on that card.the same reliance sim card which is inside the phone doesnt give more than 20kbps on a 21.2mbps modem lol...i am at the same position so signal strength and all parameters are same.

/off topicIf you're able to get your meid registered on tata/rcom/MTS, you can virtually use any android phone meant for CDMA. Sadly, the process isn't so straightforward with tata.

i know but the thing is that the choices are very restricted. i mean getting a device designed to be used for verizon wireless in usa and then getting it unlocked and then making it work on local operators? what is the freaking point?
