Hard to tell without actually trying it out but I am guessing the curve is not that significant.

This particular feature has been left out of the public eye until now, but here's what else we know so far: the G Flex comes with a 6-inch 720p OLED display, a Snapdragon 800 processor and 2GB RAM, along with the G2-inspired rear volume and power buttons. You'll also get to enjoy LG's new "self-healing" coating which is capable of repairing hairline scratches that you may incur on the back of the phone.

Self healing back cover
It's another Gimmick for fandroids. It's just a coating which expands the material again after applying a little heat. Probably the polymer coating! As the Fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coatings are getting common these days hence this new one to lure the droids.-----Curved display slightly round display is significantly major innovation in display tech. Now some will say that curved display were around before too. But they were just flat screen TVs with curved glass in front. These are displays which are actually curved. Particularly OLEDs have an amazing advantage as they can be really made flexible as compared to the fixed curve on LCD.
[*]Such display cuts down the reflections by surrounding the ambient light as it magnifies the the size of all of the objects it reflects. Small curvature is essential in the significantly reducing interference from reflected ambient light by a large factor.
[*]It also improves the screen readability, contrast, accuracy of colors and overall quality of the pictures. All the other advantages are simply thanks to the laws of physics but I've yet to see this to believe.
[*]Now it can also increase the battery running time duration because the screen brightness and display power can be decreased owing the substantial advantage to the curved display which again reduces light interference from ambient light reflections.
[/list]Curved glass is great but bendable is I think revolutionary. Although it will take few years to mass produce such flexible OLEDs but one thing assured that the dynamics in the display technology are not flat anymore. :)
