I guess this is the phone that could form the rumored Nexus 5.

The 5-inch handset comes with an upgraded 1,920 x 1,080 display and is packing a 1.7Ghz Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064, 2GB RAM, 32GB Memory, LTE and a 3,000mAh battery -- tallying with a separate leak we've spied on Blog of Mobile. Reportedly weighing in at 160 grams and measuring 139 x 70 x 10.1mm, there's talk of Jelly Bean, a 13-megapixel rear camera and 2.4-megapixel forward-facer for even better self portraiture.

This LG Optimus Pro+ device (as it’s temporarily being code-named here) will be appearing in China with a fabulous 5.5-inch HD display with IPS LCD technology running at a monstrous 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. With 2GB of RAM under the hood, this Optimus G Pro+ would be bringing the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor once again, this time clocked at 1.7GHz per core with all the best connectivity to back it all up.

Also inside you’ll find 32GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot capable of holding 32GB cards (with the possibility of 64GB cards before this device hits the market), and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean right out of the box. This device will also be appearing with a 13 megapixel camera on the back, 2.1 megapixel camera on the front, and a 3140 mAh battery inside.

How does a 5.5" 1080x1920 Full HD IPS-LCD screen sound to you? Not bad for a start, but LG also throws in a 1.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon with LTE radio, 2 GB of RAM, 13 MP rear camera and 2 MP front one capable of 1080 video, just like on its 5-inch variant.


We saved the best for last - the 5.5" Optimus G Pro will apparently sport a giant 3,140 mAh battery, 32 GB of internal memory and a microSD slot for cards up to 64 GB, indicating it might not even be a unibody design.
