Yes, you have to link bank accounts with Aadhaar number, RBI clarifies- The New Indian Express

According to public sector banking sources (the RBI did not respond to queries), the only category of accounts where Aadhaar linkage is not mandatory are ‘small accounts’ which are subject to several restrictions, including a cap on balance maintainable at Rs 50,000, and do not require Aadhaar to be opened.

Can anyone remind me when the SC hearing in this matter is? I've linked all my bank accounts except one.

sometime in november. though i did hear that one of the newer petition related to the law that they changed to make this linkage mandatory could be heard sooner.
