List of UL Plans By Airtel for Internet/Broadband

So up till now we have Banglore and chennai with the new 750/- 256kbps UL plan... Anywhere where else...???:redface:

Plans in UP (west ) are same as Delhi..
UL 499 = 64 Kbps unlimited internet + 100 Rs. Talk value
UL 699 = 128 Kbps unlimited internet only
UL 799 = 64 Kbps unlimited internet + 500 Rs. Talk value
UL 999 = 256 Kbps unlimited internet only

I called up customer care recently, inquiring about the availability of the 750/- UL plan in Delhi. The girl really had no knowledge about the existence of such a plan. So I requested her to confirm with her Sup that such a plan was not in the pipe line. To which she replied "I don't have to confirm any thing". At that point i felt i had enough and told her to get her boss on the line cause i had enough of her, that was when she hung up. So i called up again complained about her and inquired about the plan with a sup. So for all i know is that it has been taken note as a suggestion. But whether they will introduce the plan in North zone or not is yet to be seen. Hopefully we can put enough pressure on Airtel to have all India plans, same for all regions.:thumbsup:

but be prepared to pay extra Service Tax which comes close to Rs 150 as in addition to the basic 750 Rs

They never mention about the service tax until you receive your first bill, and if you were unable to notice it in terms and condition when signing for the connection.

I was shocked to see the billed amount close to Rs 889 for the 750/256 kbps plan though there was not single additional land line call.

My bill amount was 750+92.70 = 842.70 .In every plan we have to pay 12% tax amount of your bill.say for 999UL plan we have to pay 999+119.88=1118.88.and both have same speed too.so in this plan you can save 250 RS(approx)

Well, 256 Unlimited comes for 899 on MTNL triband with 100 Phone calls free......modem rent xtra though.....I would have gone for Airtel but its still not there in my area:wall:
