Loaded Latency and IPV6 issues

@!!..PD..!! I dont get disconnected with the config you mentioned but i still cant access ipv6 sites. After i got my new router logged in to PPPoE, I haven't been able to login with my ONT (I dont mean the admin config page).
Although i see my loaded latency has gone down significantly since yesterday

It's because the router PPPoE MAC address has been bound to your connection after BSNL introduced that sometime ago.

I remember BSNL had to reset the bound MAC for connection to start working when i got this router.
They had to do that because cloning the ONT MAC wasnt working.
My local BSNL office said they've passed the logs and config issues i mentioned on to their network team.

Is IPv6 working in your BSNL office/LCO place for their own connection? Try to verify this. Maybe they didn't configure it after the new BNG migration for your area.

@Trex I Also have issue like you got when doing Download tests,
When i try to put Speed Limit on Fast.com or Speedtest.com till 200MBPS, My network shows 0% bufferbloat or higher latency but when i put it above 200MBPS (225MBPS Plan) it started to show me 100ms - 500ms - 600ms - 400ms constant Latency on any Google DNS Ping or while playing any game.

Is there any way to get it fixed? Like some way? because i want stable internet while downloading any file.
This was one of the issue which i used to face in JioFiber (it used to get timedout) so i took BSNL but after plan revise, I'm facing this issue. It was not there when i was on old plans but got it after plan revision.

you can use traffic shaping on the router to eliminate it for now.

Try setting up QOS on your router. It'll limit speeds to the amount which you set and hence lower bufferbloat not too much difference though. Helps a little bit.

Choose a router with good SQM settings.

My BSNL office told me that they initially had ipv6 issues and asked me to keep it off. But they insist that the issues they were facing have been resolved.

I turned on QoS on my router but it practically made my work laptop and other devices unusable if im playing a youtube video or something.

I just spoke to my BSNL office and they say there is an issue theyve found and the bangalore office is trying to resolve it

NOC is at Bangalore. They might've raised your issue to NOC. If it is then your issue should be resolved in a week or two max.

If your BNG is Nokia then keep the same settings which I shared before. IPv6 will start working as soon as NOC is done working on your case.

About QOS, It is more like a hit and run thing.
Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.
I'm using Mercusys Router and same should be the case with TP-Link. Maybe more costly routers work with QOS as they should.

You can assign priority for devices which you do not want throttled. E.g: If you have 100 mbps and set 80 mbps limit in qos then only priority devices will get the max speeds and the bufferbloat.

Other devices will get 80 mbps or below will little to no loaded latency.

This works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. Maybe when the priority devices are connected then only it works. Haven't tried to figure this out yet so can't assure you that it'll work 100 %
