well the important part here is that you can go to jail for downloading pirated media from the internet. most people find it hard to believe this. it's better to be safe than sorry. these warnings are already pushing more people to explore VPNs so that's a good thing.

The govt that sends people to jail for downloading content wont last 2 days in India.

Has anyone been sent to jail anywhere for downloading content?

What if a friend sends me a link to site named "www . nice name here . com" which I am unaware that it is blocked OR hosts illegal content.

How will I ever know without clicking on it that it is not legal?

^ A friend would probably not do that, but the same thing can be done by websites.

You just made me click it and realize its torrent site!

^^
Yea but you don't know if it's legal..because government's notice does not pop up [emoji14] and it's sushubh who shared with us..[emoji1]

the fault lies with airtel. they are delivering their message over http. the website is running on https. most browsers does not load http content on https domains by default. so the message is not loaded at all. if you enable loading of unsecure content, the message from airtel would come.

why airtel? because the website is using cloudflare. and airtel is inserting this message between cloudflare servers and website's own host servers. so even if you are on reliance, you see the warning from airtel.

Code:
http://www.airtel.in/dot/?dpid=1&dpruleid=3&cat=107&ttl=0&groupname=-&policyname=-&username=-&userip=162.158.55.38&connectionip=127.0.0.1&nsphostname=Policy04-Chennai&protocol=policyprocessor&dplanguage=-&url=http%3a%2f%2fzooqle%2ecom%2f
